ITMTB Approved for Defense Access in Anthropic's Cyber Verification Program

28 October 2026: ITMTB Technologies has been approved for Defense Access in Anthropic's Cyber Verification Program, which verifies security teams before giving them access to Anthropic's most advanced AI for defensive security work.

In short: ITMTB is approved for Defense Access in Anthropic's Cyber Verification Program. We use it to secure the software we build and run: verifying vulnerabilities, analysing suspicious code, improving threat detection, and responding to incidents faster.

What the Cyber Verification Program is

Anthropic approves organisations for the programme after verifying three things: their identity, the security work they do, and the security controls they have in place.

Defense Access is the tier for teams defending systems they own or maintain. It covers four kinds of work:

  • vulnerability triage and verification
  • malware analysis and reverse engineering
  • detection engineering
  • incident response

How ITMTB uses it

We use it to secure the software we build and run. In practice that means:

  • Verifying vulnerabilities before release, so a reported issue is confirmed and fixed rather than argued about.
  • Analysing suspicious code in dependencies and inputs, instead of guessing what it does.
  • Improving threat detection on the systems we operate.
  • Responding to incidents faster when something does go wrong.

Every release of our products goes through this as part of the release process, including Enterprise Search.

What this means for customers

  • Security gaps caught and fixed before release
  • Faster response if something goes wrong
  • Safer software, including our Enterprise Search

What it does not cover yet

Defense Access applies to systems ITMTB owns or maintains. It does not cover security work on systems we do not own or maintain. That needs a separate approval from Anthropic, and we will update this page when it is in place. Our cybersecurity risk assessment work for clients continues as before.
